My name is Jenny Dinh, also well known as JennyD, from Lake In The Hills, IL. I taught myself how to play the guitar and the ukulele. I've played live shows from coffee shops, restaurants, to local theatres. I hold a regular weekly gig at PotBelly in Algonquin, IL , I love to sing and cover a variety of songs from oldies to pop to indie, etc. I also write originals of my own which have been selected to be played on the internet radio stations. I was nominated for Best Folk/Acoustic and Best Female Vocal Artist-Hollywood Music In Media Awards 2012. Also was nominated for Best Singer/Songwriter and Best Folk/Acoustic Artist – All Indie Music Awards. I have been selected to receive The Kidzapalooza Scholarship to attend Berklee's Five Week Summer Performance Program 2012. This is a full tuition scholarship awarded annually to a talented young pop/rock musician from the Chicago area. Through the last couple of years, my passion for music has brought out the best in me, and it makes me smile to know that others enjoy my singing and I hope you do too!!
